Hexagon dC3 VMS
Based on the Ocularis and Qognify Video Management Software products, this product provides a unified physical security technology ecosystem designed to manage the entire lifecycle of an incident and minimize its impact. This innovative solution integrates Command, Control, and Collaboration (C3) capabilities used to control the security center environment with advanced event detection.
Features
- Mobile Client is an easy and comfortable way to access HxGN dC3 Orchestrator, Ocularis, Qognify VMS, or HxGN dC3 Video on the go using a smartphone or tablet.
- Automatic Push Video Alerting (Blank Screen Monitoring):
Upon an event, a push video alert from the IP camera that triggered the alert, or from any other camera, can be sent to users running the Client application. In addition, the alert can be configured to trigger alarms or send notifications to users. - Map-based navigation of cameras, camera views, and carousels, with preview windows and local video walls.

Analytics Suite
Video analytics is a tool that directs operators’ attention, enabling them to focus on what’s truly important in a continuous stream of video. - Server-based metadata sources to Hexagon’s non-proprietary forensic search tool – QogniFinder. Utilizing the Track and Monitor (TAM) analytics functions from Qognify VMS Video Analytics, customers can now leverage a server-based analytics tool (powered by Saimos) to equip any camera channel with analytics intelligence, enabling the identification of specific persons or vehicles in recorded video footage. This helps security personnel and agencies significantly speed up investigations.
- Provides situational awareness: collects, integrates, and correlates data from a large number of sensors and third-party systems, creating a consolidated view of an incident to facilitate decisions. It also visualizes details in an intuitive multi-layered GIS-based map view.
- Object Detection: This Finder search tool utilizes metadata streams from many different sources to help locate persons or vehicles. It can detect objects that are left or removed in indoor environments.
- License Plate Recognition: LPR helps secure parking areas and driveways. It can read license plates from more than 50 countries.
- Face Recognition: Identifies people in real time.
Video | Insight Solution
The Hexagon dC3 Video | Insight (formerly Qognify BVI) integrates data and video. It enables you to utilize event and video data from a VMS and combine it with process data. By linking these previously unconnected areas, we gain valuable new information.
- By combining video and transaction data, dC3 Video | Insight makes it possible to search for particular items or transaction types – and to find the corresponding video recordings within seconds.
- Video | Insight helps improve process flow to make sure responsibilities are clear at all times. For instance, the transfer of liability within the supply chain can be documented reliably.

Orchestrator is a software PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) and incident management solution, integrating and correlating information from multiple and diverse systems across the enterprise in real-time. At the same time, it coordinates the most effective responses, ensuring everyone in the operational chain knows what’s happening, where it’s happening, and how to respond.
