This optical projector used a very bright illuminator to allow you to project the image of virtually any material. This was a remarkable Direct Projector. The Buhl Mark IV OPUS was able to project non-transparent materials such as original documents, books, magazines, and even thin three-dimensional solid objects.
This was a professional opaque projector, designed for professional artists and educators, it displayed printed materials in amazing clarity. The 4 halogen lights provided enough light for presentations in daylight.
Features:
- LED indication of lamp failure
- Light-source dims when opening the top cover
- Fine picture tuning
- Detachable top cover with dimmer-override function (including special dust/slipcover)
The alternative to an Opaque Projector is the Video Presenter. The Video Presenter uses a video camera to view the object and requires either a TV monitor or LCD or Digital Projector to display the image. The Video Presenter with a projector usually provides a brighter image.
