There are video Encoders and decoders. The encoders convert analog video to a digital signal that connects to the network. It allows you to use an older analog camera with the latest IP camera system. The decoder converts digital video signals to an analog video signal. This allows you to convert a network attached IP camera signal so it can be displayed on an analog display monitor.
Connect any analog CCTV Camera to the network using these flexible Camera video encoders. These Video Encoders allow you to upgrade your analog CCTV cameras to the latest IP-based systems. Sometimes they are called video servers, but there is a difference between an encoder and a server. Take a look at our FAQ for more details. For more information, take a look at our technical article describing the Advantages of IP Based Systems Over the Analog CCTV Systems.
