There are three series of cameras in this 3.0 megapixel family of IP cameras. The V-series provides extended capability such as wide dynamic range, audio and CF memory card slot. The E-series are economical IP cameras with very good day/night capability. The X series is a low cost indoor bullet type camera.
They all feature 3 megapixel resolution, providing 1920 x 1440 resolution and have composite video out, which makes installation easier.
The E and V Series family include replaceable lenses. The X series has a fixed non replaceable lens.
The SNC-CH220 and SNC-CH240 incorporate Sony’s new 1/2.8 inch Exmor™ CMOS image sensor. It is specially designed for security applications and includes state-of-the- art image enhancement technologies. The SNC-CH240 Fixed Network Camera is the ideal choice for the most demanding lighting applications.
