All these models feature 3-megapixel resolution, providing 1920 x 1440 resolution. You can select an outdoor vandal-resistant model, indoor vandal-resistant model or an indoor model without vandal resistance. These cameras come with variable lenses 3.1 mm to 8.9 mm lenses with horizontal viewing angles between 88.5 and 32 degrees. The X Series are small indoor domes with fixed wide-angle lenses
All these Dome IP Cameras incorporate Sony’s new 1/2.8 inch Exmor™ CMOS image sensor. Sony elected to use the larger sensor to achieve better low light and wide dynamic range. Select the E Series for standard indoor or outdoor applications. Choose the V series for challenging lighting situations. Select the X series if you can make do with a low cost fixed lens dome for indoor-only applications.
