Using a PTZ at night

The latest PTZ cameras are available with built-in IR illumination.  These allow you to see in total darkness. They have a range of about 150 m (490 ft).  There are also very special PTZ cameras designed for very long-range surveillance.  Some of these include special laser illuminators that can provide visibility to 5000 m (3 miles).
