Axis Dome IP Cameras
You can select from a variety of economical or high-performance dome IP network-attached cameras. Dome cameras are designed to be unobtrusive and nice looking. They are also easy to install. The high-end models include remote zoom and focus lenses. All these IP cameras are powered using PoE.

Select the economical M30 series with a fixed lens for economical indoor applications, the M31-VE series ultra-discreet design, or the high-performance P33 series for indoor and outdoor applications where you require good low light sensitivity.
Competition: Comparable IP cameras are also available from Hanwha. For example, the Hanwha (Samsung) WiseNet dome cameras have excellent price-performance. For example, take a look at the Hanwha XNV-6080, and compare its low-light performance to the Axis P3375-LVE. It has better low-light sensitivity of 0.015 Lux (color) compared to 0.16 lux (color) provided by the Axis P3375-LVE. Remember that the cameras are just one part of the surveillance and security system. You also need video management software (VMS) or network video recorder (NVR) to record your video. M30 Series Dome Cameras
The M30 series are economical small indoor dome IP cameras. These small and economical cameras include fixed wide lenses, so they have to be positioned to view the area you want to see. Some models include very wide-angle lenses so you can see over 180-degree view.
The dome cameras are dust and vandal resistant. The M3014 is an ultra-discreet dome camera that fits nicely in a drop ceiling while some other models can be used outdoors. You can select from a number of models shown below.
If you need an inexpensive dome camera with a variable lens that can be easily adjusted to your application, take a look at the Samsung SNV-L6083R dome camera. It includes a 2.8 to 12 mm variable lens.

M31-R Series of Dome IP Cameras for Mobile Surveillance Applications
Discontinued
The M31-R series of IP dome cameras, designed for mobile applications have been discontinued.
As an alternative take a look at the Hanwha XNV-6022RM. This camera includes the M12 network connection designed for high vibration applications.
Economical Series of Dome IP Cameras
This series of IP dome cameras are designed for small areas such as doorways. They are best used at the outside entrance of buildings. These small dome cameras are encased in a UV-resistant casing with a weather shield and have protection against rain, snow, sun, and dust. They can operate in temperatures from 50 °C (122 °F) down to -20 °C (-4 °F).
The IP dome cameras are designed for easy installation. There is a choice of SVGA and HDTV 720p resolution.

P32 Network Camera Series
The P32 series IP dome cameras are professional IP cameras with many advanced features. There is a choice of resolution from 2.0-Megapixel to the 8-Megapixel 3840×2160 model. All the dome cameras include p-iris lenses that provide better depth of field at low light levels than standard auto-focus lenses. The IP cameras include Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) that improve image clarity when viewing a scene that has very wide light ranges. For example, viewing a person in front of a glass window, WDR allows you to see both the person and the people outside in bright sunlight.
All models include remote zoom and focus. Note the suffix on the model numbers indicate the following:

P33 Series IP Dome Cameras with Manual Zoom and Focus
The P33 series IP dome cameras are economical cameras with many advanced features. There is a choice of resolution from 1.0 Megapixel to the 5-Megapixel 2592 x 1944 model. All the dome cameras include p-iris lenses that provide better depth of field at low light levels than standard auto-focus lenses. Axis Q35 Series
The Axis Q35 Series IP cameras consist of vandal-resistant, indoor and outdoor-ready fixed domes that deliver high image quality up to 100/120 fps in HDTV 1080p, and up to 30 fps in HDTV 1080p with WDR enabled.
The cameras’ Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) – Axis calls this “Forensic Capture” capability which provides perfectly balanced video quality in scenes with strong variations in light. Lightfinder technology enables outstanding image usability in poor light. The Q35 Series also supports Axis’ Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), which greatly improves video quality in situations where the camera is subject to vibration. Furthermore, the cameras support barrel distortion correction and include optical zoom that can be used when monitoring a scene.
