Sony PTZ IP Camera Specifications

There are three models in this family of PTZ cameras. Each model provides different resolution and zoom optics, but they all have very similar camera specifications. They use the same cameras as those available in the Rapid dome group, but use a lower performance pan and tilt mechanisms. The cameras rotate or pan 340 degrees instead of the 360 continuous rotation provided by the Rapid Dome models. They also have less tilt capability allowing them to move up and down from -15 to +90 degrees. The higher resolution cameras allow you to view a wider area with the same detail. Even though the amount of zoom is different for each model, you can see virtually the same distance away because of the available digital zoom.

To use these PTZ cameras outdoors you require a separate environmental enclosure. Sony has environmental enclosures but you can also use enclosures from 3rd party manufacturers. Contact Kintronics and we will help make sure you have the right camera, enclosure and mounting hardware.
