The Panasonic PTZ IP cameras include a very nice “fog compensation” mode, but don’t have the same wide dynamic range (WDR) as the newest Sony and Samsung PTZ cameras. You can select the 1.3 or the 2.0-megapixel resolution model.
The 30X optical zoom and a 2-megapixel sensor, allows you to recognize a person’s face from about 800 ft away. For comparison, Axis provides a maximum of 20X zoom while Sony has a 30X zoom lens on its PTZ camera. Samsung (Hanwha) beats them all with the 32X optical zoom lens.
