Panasonic PTZ IP Camera Overview
The series-5 pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) IP cameras provide 2-megapixel resolution with 30X of zoom, which is about the same as the Sony and Samsung PTZ IP cameras. Select indoor or outdoor-ready cameras that are all powered using PoE.
The Panasonic PTZ cameras include a very nice “fog compensation” mode, but don’t have the same wide dynamic range (WDR) as the newest Sony and Samsung PTZ cameras. You can select the 1.3 or the 2.0-megapixel resolution model.
The 30X optical zoom and a 2-megapixel sensor, allows you to recognize a person’s face from about 800 ft away. For comparison, Axis provides a maximum of 20X zoom while Sony has a 30X zoom lens on its PTZ camera. Samsung beats them all with the 32X optical zoom lens. More about Panasonic PTZ cameras

Why Select Panasonic IP Cameras?
Panasonic is well known for camera technology. Panasonic has been providing surveillance cameras for 50 years. The latest image processing computer provides improved performance at up to 60 fps. These professional IP cameras come with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Very good performance in all lighting conditions: Panasonic only has WDR in the latest 6-series cameras, but many of the older cameras include “adaptive black stretch” which improves the visibility of scenes that contain very dark and light areas. The cameras all have very good low light sensitivity and reduced noise that allow you to see video in color at lower light levels.
Built-in analytics include “object removed” and “object left”. The newer cameras also include “line crossing” detection, camera tampering, and detection of abnormal audio sounds (in cameras with audio support).
